the current of change
Change is as natural as breathing when it comes to the flow of life. so why do we constantly resist it? perhaps it is rooted in the fear of the unknown, like jumping into a great wave of energy, light, and shadow that we cannot see completely. Nature adapts and expands to the ebb and flow of our world. Mother Nature leans quietly and gracefully into the seasons; or sometimes she does so with incredible power and fury. we as humans, also do this. our lives can be molded and transformed from moment to moment, in an everlasting journey of the death, rebirth, and shift of every aspect of our lives. one moment, you may feel yourself at ease and stillness. leaning into the art of presence. the next, you may feel on edge and tears swell into your eyes at a thought or memory collecting dust in the edges of your mind and heart. one moment in life you may sense peace and stability within and outside of yourself, and then tragedy strikes. the art of balance in these moments can be the difference between FLOWING with the current of change or FIGHTING against it. if you can flow with change, you can embrace the unfolding of what is happening without judgement. you can feel what you need to feel. you can change what you want to change. you can accept what is and not you think it should be. you can know that change can be scary, and it can also be liberating. you can choose the path of flow, the path of movement. It can be safe to evolve.
